Simulation of pedestrian movements using a fine grid cellular automata model

Crowd simulation is used in evacuation and crowd safety inspections the study of performance systems animations. Cellular automata are extensively utilized modeling. In regular cellular models, each pedestrian occupies a single cell with size body. The movements pedestrians resemble those chess pieces on chessboard because space divided into relatively large cells. Furthermore, all feature same body speed. This proposes fine grid model that uses small cells allows bodies to occupy several use different sizes, shapes, speeds for pedestrians. also simulate toward specific target. A typical walkway scenario considered test evaluate proposed model. Pedestrian smooth grain discretization movements, results match empirical speed–density graphs good accuracy.
